At Micro we believe that through innovation the course of the world can be altered to a better. Hence, in partnership with KOIKA, Micro Cars offer a multitude of training programs for budding automobile engineers and educational tours for school children in order to inspire them in pursuing their career objectives and to nurture their professional life.
Initially Micro Cars Ltd. along with The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development and The Korean International Co-operation Agency (KOICA) launched a project in order to minimize the skill gap. The project was inaugurated by training a batch of students of the Technical College.
Today, this venture has helped to pave career pathways to a staggering number of budding automobile engineers in establishing themselves as qualified professionals in their field of interest, which in return achieved a considerable amount of revenue for the country's economy
As a notable approach of uplifting the living standards of the coastal fishermen along the Northern and Eastern coasts, we have ventured in to a flourishing business project of seaweed cultivation, strengthened with the partnership of NARA, NAQDA, ANN Associates of Japan. For this purpose, a colossal cultivation site was chosen in Velani, Kytes, situated along the Northern coastal belt in Sri Lanka in order to take on a mutually beneficial business venture which will benefit the organization as well as the urban community.
Euchema Cottonii has a high demand in the world market due to its various uses in producing medicine, food & beverages, biofuels and cosmetics. The project commenced operations in December 2011 and amidst various challenges a nursery was formed in April 2012 where today it has successfully begun a commercial cultivation while providing seedlings to projects island wide. This project has also been accounted as beneficial for bringing in foreign revenue and providing job opportunities.
We initiated this project to improve rural livelihood & educate the general public on other career pathways that today micro can offer to Sri Lankans.
